Biography

Christoph Kirsch was born in 1971 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany, and grew up in the Netherlands, in the northern city of Groningen.

In 1991 he began studying Graphic Design, first in Brussels and later on in Groningen. At the same time, he started working for a number of German publishers and the Goethe-Institut, illustrating school text books.
At art school, he also became interested in photography and, while continuing with his work as an illustrator, he switched from Graphic Design to Fine Arts and graduated in 1997 in Photography and Graphic Art.
